LONGVIEW, Miss. (AP) - Authorities in Pontotoc County say no one was hurt when fire destroyed a home Tuesday night in Longview.
WTVA-TV in Tupelo reports (https://bit.ly/1fvbyB2 ) firefighters were called to the home on Longview Road at about 11 p.m.
Firefighters say two people were in the wood house but managed to escape safely.
Fire departments from the Longview, Pontotoc, Belden and Furrs communities responded.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
