Retired sheriff’s captain killed in Riddle crash

RIDDLE, Ore. (AP) - Retired Douglas County sheriff’s Capt. Robert Stratton was killed Monday in a collision with a car and a logging truck in Riddle.

The 72-year-old Riddle man died at the scene.

KVAL reports (https://bit.ly/1nNC5Q8) Stratton worked for the sheriff’s office for 29 years and retired in 2001.
