TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) - Police are seeking three suspects after an Indiana man reported they assaulted and stabbed him while he visited Northwestern Michigan College.
The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports (https://bit.ly/1bq8Iyi ) the 35-year-old Indianapolis man was listed in fair condition at a hospital following the Friday evening attack.
Traverse City Police Capt. Jeff O’Brien says the man told officers that three men confronted him while he walked from an on-campus apartment building to his car. The victim had two stab wounds to his lower back, a 3-inch cut across his forehead and a cut on his shoulder.
O’Brien said the Indianapolis man was visiting a friend. Northwestern Michigan College on Saturday informed students about the stabbing via email.
Anyone with information about the attack is asked to contact Traverse City police.
