ESSEX, Md. (AP) - Three people were injured in a house fire in Essex, including a woman was rescued by a neighbor and a police officer.
Authorities say the fire was reported about 9 a.m. Tuesday in a two-story, single-family home. The rescued woman told Baltimore County police that she heard a loud noise and saw fire and shattered windows.
The rescued woman, a police officer and a firefighter were injured and taken to local hospitals. None of the injuries is believed to be life-threatening.
Police are trying to determine if an incendiary device was involved in the blaze.
