BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) - A small earthquake in Southern California was felt around the Bakersfield area, but there are no reports of damages or injuries.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude-3.6 quake struck at about 9:30 p.m. Monday about 25 miles south of Bakersfield at a depth of 8.5 miles.
The Kern County sheriff’s and fire departments say they have received no calls about damages injuries, or any other problems stemming from the earthquake.
