AVONDALE, La. (AP) - Officials have reopened La. Highway 18 after it was closed for several hours because of a train derailment near the Avondale Shipyard.
The state Department of Transportation and Development says the derailment happened around 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Crews remain at the scene as work continues to remove the detailed cars.
