SALEM, Ore. (AP) - A 29-year-old Turner man who was sentenced to probation last week in Salem for a fatal fight is back in the Marion County Jail.

Jason Allen Russell was arrested Saturday at Turner and accused of drinking - a violation of his probation.

The Statesman Journal reports (https://stjr.nl/1iph4Ia ) he was ordered held without bail at Monday’s arraignment.

Last week he admitted he failed to get help for a man who was fatally injured in a drunken fight and was sentenced to five years of zero-tolerance probation.
