OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - The defendant at a criminal trial in Olympia Monday swore and flipped over a large table in the courtroom.

The judge had 30-year-old Nicholas Bostrom Thompson removed to another room where he had to watch his own trial on a video monitor.

The Olympian reports (https://bit.ly/1ipxVKY) the Yelm man is charged with assault and robbery. The judge says Bostrom may return to the courtroom if he promises no more outbursts.
