Alabama teen killed in car crash

ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a Tallapoosa teen has been killed in a car crash.

Alabama State Patrol spokesman Kevin Cook told the Montgomery Advertiser (https://on.mgmadv.com/MYUbRs ) that 18-year-old Heather Johnson, of Equality, was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash on Alabama 22 near Alexander City Tuesday morning.

Authorities say Johnson wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and the incident is under investigation.
