YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a suspect is custody in Yuma for allegedly running over a man after a party.
Yuma police said Monday that 23-year-old Michael Anthony Soto is being held on suspicion of attempted murder and aggravated assault.
They say 38-year-old Carla Diane Hirales is being held on endangerment, furnishing liquor to underage persons and using an unlicensed premises.
Police say they were called to a home about 4 a.m. Monday.
They say Soto allegedly was involved in an altercation at a party involving alcohol at Hirales’ home.
Police say Soto left the house, got into his vehicle and allegedly struck 21-year-old Jorge Damian, who was standing in the street.
They say Damian was listed in stable condition at a Phoenix hospital with head trauma and other injuries.
