SPARKS, Nev. (AP) - Sparks police say they’ve arrested an 18-year-old man suspected of trying to lure three girls into his car.
Police responded around 4:30 p.m. Sunday to the area of 15 Street and Prater Way.
Three girls ranging in age from 12 to 14 told officers they were walking near a Dairy Queen when they were approached by the man, who asked them to get into his car.
They refused and ran to a nearby convenience store. But they say when they left the man again approached them and at one point started to get out of his car. The girls ran and called police.
Officers say the located the vehicle and arrested Carlos Campa.
