OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. (AP) - A family of four lost their home when a fire broke out in a mobile home park in Owens Cross Roads.

Al.com reports (https://bit.ly/1lwEzUn ) that firefighters from Owens Cross Roads, Big Cove and New Hope responded to the blaze at 12:30 a.m. Monday. Flames had engulfed the mobile home by the time they arrived and little was left by the time they extinguished the fire.

The Red Cross is helping the Adult and three children who lived in the mobile home find temporary shelter.



The Madison County fire marshal’s office says initial information indicates the fire may have started in a bedroom, but that can’t be confirmed until the investigation is complete.
