COQUILLE, Ore. (AP) - A judge has sentenced a North Bend, Ore., man to spend at least 25 years in prison for the July 2013 shooting death of his wife.

The World newspaper of Coos Bay reports (https://bit.ly/1cOwuoq ) that Judge Richard Barron sentenced Wayne Hagner on Monday to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years.

Hagner was convicted of murder last month in the death of his disabled wife, Anna.



He had been convicted of crimes such as assault and harassment in the past decade, and completed drug treatment and anger management programs before the shooting.
