JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - Matt Moore, a Democratic candidate for U.S. House, reported bringing in more than $23,000 during the last quarter.
That figure includes $14,000 in loans he made himself between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, according to a filing with the Federal Election Commission. About $9,600 was from individual contributions.
Moore reported ending 2013 with about $1,500 on hand.
Moore is seeking the Democratic nomination for the seat currently held by Republican U.S. Rep. Don Young. Moore ran in 2012, losing his party’s nomination that year to Sharon Cissna.
Young reported raising more than $107,000 during the fourth quarter and ending 2013 with nearly $680,000 on hand.
