FARMERVILLE, La. (AP) - Authorities have arrested the father of one of two men charged with home invasion and armed robbery in Union Parish.

Sheriff Dusty Gates tells the News Star (https://tnsne.ws/Lpda64 ) that 51-year-old Boone Richardson “Richie” Brantley of Farmerville is charged with being an accessory after the fact on four counts - home invasion, armed robbery, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and false imprisonment.

Gates says Boone Richardson Brantley Jr. and Kurt Christopher Wiley, both 21 and both of Farmerville, are charged with the Jan. 12 armed robbery and home invasion in the Rocky Branch community.

Gates says the elder Brantley is accused of giving false information to investigators, having another man give a false alibi for his son and destroying some physical evidence.

They are being held in the parish jail.
