BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (AP) - A woman in northwestern Arizona is in custody on suspicion of attempted murder for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend.

Bullhead City police say 32-year-old Carly Robin Adargo remains in the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.

Authorities didn’t immediately know Monday if she has a lawyer yet.

Police were dispatched to a residence about 1:40 a.m. Monday on a report of domestic violence.

A 31-year-old man called police to say he had a significant wound to his neck after being stabbed by his live-in girlfriend.

Police say it appears Adargo and her boyfriend had been drinking and got into a fight.

The man was flown to a Nevada hospital for treatment. His name hasn’t been released.

Police say Adargo was arrested after she returned to the residence about 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
