3 arrested after police chase in Ogden

OGDEN, Utah (AP) - Police says three people have been arrested following a chase in Ogden that began with reports of gunfire.

Authorities say the events began around 8 p.m. Sunday with reports of shots fired from a brown, four-door vehicle.

Police located the vehicle minutes later and tried to pull it over, but the driver kept going.

The Salt Lake Tribune (https://bit.ly/1fBcztz ) reports that as officers called off the pursuit because of high speeds, they saw the vehicle go off the road and overturn.

Two men and a woman got out and tried to run but were caught and taken into custody.

Authorities say one man was subdued with a Taser.
