RAYVILLE, La. (AP) - State police say an 82-year-old Monroe man died in a single-vehicle wreck.
The accident happened Thursday afternoon on Interstate 20 east of U.S. 425.
Troopers say a truck driven by Arthur Jackson was traveling west when it left the roadway, struck a wooden post and traveled down an embankment before hitting a bridge piling.
Investigator say Jackson was taken to a hospital, where he died.
