LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have confirmed that a body found in Arizona desert belongs to a Las Vegas landlord who police suspect was killed by a tenant.

The Mohave County coroner says the body found Feb. 19 about 30 miles south of the Hoover Dam belongs to 53-year-old Sheila Harrick Linke. Authorities say she died of strangulation and blunt force trauma to the head.

Police have arrested 52-year-old Edward Norman Kopp on suspicion of murder.

Police say Linke was last seen Jan. 26, the day she texted a co-worker to say she was handling a difficult eviction of Kopp and his girlfriend, Kathy Atteberry.

A police report says Kopp told officers he killed Linke after she attacked him with a knife, and that he and Atteberry left the body near White Hills, Ariz.
