CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Police in Casper say a woman who was arguing with her boyfriend stabbed a 5-foot-tall teddy bear that the boyfriend had once given her.

Carly Marra allegedly told her boyfriend “I wish this was you!” while she assaulted the bear.

A police affidavit says Marra was in an on-and-off relationship with Jordan McAlexander. They had a 16-month-old child but recently she had a baby by another and he began seeing an ex-girlfriend.

Marra allegedly bit, punched, elbowed and kicked McAlexander during the Feb. 10 fight. McAlexander allegedly wrestled the knife away, put her in a bathroom and called police.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (bit.ly/OL2L7m) Marra is charged with aggravated assault and battery and free on $5,000 bond.

She did not have a listed number to be reached for comment.
