BADER, Ill. (AP) - Authorities in Schuyler County in western Illinois are trying to determine what sparked a fire in a shed where a body was later found.

The Quincy Herald-Whig (https://bit.ly/1oc0yfp) reports investigators are awaiting DNA testing they hope will confirm the identity of the victim found Wednesday on the floor of the shed near Bader, which also had living quarters.

Authorities say an autopsy revealed the victim died of carbon-monoxide poisoning and smoke inhalation.

Schuyler County Sheriff Don Schieferdecker says the building already had burned to the ground before a neighbor saw the fire and summoned emergency responders.
