RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police are investigating a pair of armed robberies on the city’s south side over the past week at a 7-11 and a Radio Shack.

It’s not clear if they are related.

Police say a black man in his late 20s to early 30s robbed employees at gun point at a Radio Shack on East Plumb Lane last Thursday about 6:40 p.m. He was described as 5-foot-9 to 5-11, 150-170 pounds, wearing a red bandanna over his face, a red jacket and jeans.

On Tuesday, a black man estimated in his mid-20s robbed employees at gun point at a 7-11 on Peckham Lane about 2:30 a.m. He wore a black beanie-style hat, a black Oakland Raiders jacket over a white shirt with black stripes, jeans, and white shoes.
