MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) - A 20-year-old Medford, Ore., man who rammed his car through his ex-girlfriend’s bedroom wall, injuring her, has been sentenced to probation.

Police say the former couple’s twin children were also inside the room early on Jan. 14 but were unhurt.

The Mail Tribune reports (https://is.gd/SEgYfo ) that Matthew Joseph Olivares was sentenced this week after pleaded guilty in Jackson County Circuit Court to third-degree assault, DUI and three counts of recklessly endangering another person. His driver’s license was suspended for five years.



Police said Olivares was driving at least 50 mph before hitting the house.
