KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Truman Medical Center in Kansas City has opened a new cancer treatment center.
The Kansas City Star reports (https://bit.ly/1mCcXdJ ) the new $6 million Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Center opened this week, tripling the size of Truman’s previous cancer treatment facility.
The 17,000-square-foot facility was made possible by a $2.3 million gift from the R.A. Bloch Cancer Foundation, as well as other support from the Hall Family Foundation and the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation.
