NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police are investigating an accident that left a bicyclist dead.

Police say the car-bike collision happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Investigators say the unidentified 50-year-old bicyclist was struck by a car while crossing into the car’s lane of travel. He was pronounced dead on the scene.



The 26-year-old driver of the car was not injured. Police say no charges were filed in connection with the accident.
