JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - According to Willis and Sons Funeral Home, funeral services for Jackson Mayor Chokwe Lumumba will be held Saturday, March 8, at 11 a.m.
A spokesman tells WLBT-TV (https://bit.ly/1mJqGTn ) that more information on the location and other details will be released Friday.
Lumumba died Tuesday at St. Dominic Hospital. He was 66.
Lumumba served one term on the Jackson City Council before being sworn in as mayor last July.
