CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - A Charlottesville woman has been charged with assaulting the wife of Virginia House Minority Leader David J. Toscano.

According to a police report, 35-year-old Claire Kennedy Ogilvie is charged with burglary, abduction and malicious wounding in Monday night’s reported assault on Toscano’s wife, Nancy Tramontin.

The Daily Progress reports (https://bit.ly/1jyjF39 ) Ogilvie is being held without bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail. She will be arraigned March 27 in Charlottesville General District Court.



Police say Tramontin was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
