RENO, Nev. (AP) - A Sparks baby-sitter who provides daycare at her home has been arrested on suspicion of child abuse.
Sparks police say 28-year-old Jennifer Beach is accused of abusing a 6-month-old girl at her home on Sacred Circle near Redhawk Golf Course in Spanish Springs.
Police say they found injuries to the infant consistent with child abuse but have not released any other details.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports (https://tinyurl.com/mh6bwpr) detectives began an investigation after the mother of the girl filed a complaint on Jan. 24. Beach was arrested on Tuesday.
