MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - A 32-year-old Mason City woman has pleaded guilty to theft for using a bogus credit card to go on a spending spree.

Authorities say Jacqueline Hollenbach had obtained the card by misusing the name of her boyfriend’s mother. Police say Hollenbach rang up more than $1,000 in purchases with the bogus card.

The Mason City Globe Gazette says (https://bit.ly/1psv8oH ) Hollenbach is still scheduled to stand trial in April on charges of identity theft and ongoing criminal conduct.
