YORK, Pa. (AP) - A central Pennsylvania man has been sentenced to life in prison plus an additional 10 to 20 years in the stabbing death of his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend who was killed last year as he slept.

Twenty-five-year-old Joshua Lookingbill was convicted last month of second-degree murder and burglary in York County in the January 2013 slaying of 37-year-old Nakia Williams.

Defense attorney Bruce Blocher argued that his client was merely in the home to see his children, but “something snapped” in him when he saw the couple in bed together.

The York Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1bLrnqD ) reports that Lookingbill smirked and chuckled quietly as the victim’s mother spoke about her pain. He declined to say anything to her or the court, saying “I think everybody just pretty much knows what it is.”
