FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Funeral services for a mother and her four young children killed in a fiery crash in Central California drew hundreds of family, friends and even strangers to a Central California church.

The California Highway Patrol says 29-year-old Esmeralda Tafoya-Saucedo and her four children were killed on Feb. 15 in Fresno County when another driver ran a stop sign and hit their SUV. Tafoya-Saucedo’s husband, Joe Saucedo, was following the family in another vehicle, but was unable to pull them out of the burning SUV.

The Fresno Bee reports (https://bit.ly/1hgV2Ie) that Saucedo left Tuesday’s service at a church in Riverdale in tears accompanied by his mother and mother-in-law.

The other driver, 41-year-old Juana Bejarano, was hospitalized after the crash. The CHP has not announced an arrest.
