GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - Two Kiln brothers have accepted plea agreements in a federal case involving meth-trafficking and firearm violations.
The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1jzyVwQ ) 29-year-old Jessey Bellais pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiring to distribute crystal meth in Hancock County. He faces five to 40 years in prison and a fine of up to $5 million.
Twenty-six-year-old Cole Bellais pleaded guilty to possession of a modified shotgun not registered to him on the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. He faces maximum penalties of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
U.S. District Judge Sul Ozerden will sentence them May 14.
The brothers were indicted on multiple counts in January. Their other charges will be dismissed as part of their plea agreements.
