MOTLEY, Minn. (AP) - Authorities in northern Minnesota say the death of a 36-year-old woman whose body was found outside in the snow does not appear suspicious.

The Morrison County sheriff’s office got a report Tuesday that a woman was found lying in the snow outside the Country Terrace Apartments in Motley and was apparently dead.

Responders found the body of 36-year-old Anna Eakle of Staples in a depression in the snow outside the apartments. Her body was taken to the Ramsey County medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.

Sheriff Michel Wetzel says there are no signs of foul play.

The investigation continues.
