LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A 26-year-old Omaha man has pleaded guilty in the 2012 robbery of a credit union office in Lincoln.
Billy Johnson Jr. is scheduled to be sentenced next month on a charge of attempted robbery. He made his plea in Lancaster County District Court on Monday. Prosecutors say he got away with nearly $23,000 on July 9, 2012, from Liberty First Credit Union.
Prosecutors say Johnson was identified after investigators matched his left thumbprint on the note he gave a teller.
