Death of 2-year-old Olympia girl suspicious

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Thurston County detectives are investigating the death of a 2-year-old Olympia girl as suspicious.

The sheriff’s office says the girl was unconscious when help was called about 1 a.m. Tuesday to a home in the Tanglewilde neighborhood. She was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The Olympian reports (https://bit.ly/1cMc7rL ) the sheriff’s office is calling the death suspicious because of an indication of possible prior injuries and bruising.
