BERNARDO, N.M. (AP) - One person was killed in a wrong-way crash involving two trucks on Interstate 25 near Bernardo south of Albuquerque.
According to New Mexico State Police, a southbound pickup and a northbound tractor-trailer rig collided head-on in the northbound lanes Tuesday morning.
Both vehicles caught fire.
The pickup’s driver was killed and the big rig’s driver was injured.
