PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Gasoline prices in Rhode Island have increased by 4 cents a gallon in the past week.

The weekly survey by AAA Southern New England released Monday finds the average price for a gallon of self-serve regular at $3.52.

That’s 4 cents higher than last week and 10 cents above the national average of $3.42.

Rhode Island drivers were paying 30 cents more for gas this time last year.

The AAA survey found a 26-cent range in prices, from a low of $3.43 a gallon to a high of $3.69.
