MATHEWS, La. (AP) - Lafourche Parish authorities will collect household hazardous materials March 15 from 8 a.m.-noon at the Mathews Government Complex.

The Daily Comet reports (https://bit.ly/1h6HFIs ) that only residential household products such as corrosive cleaners, cleaning solvents, bleach, paints, automotive products, lawn and garden products, batteries and flammables will be accepted.

Ammunition, explosives, fireworks, appliances, furniture, power tools and other forms of non-hazardous waste will not be collected.
