Ex-Ala. Sunday school leader guilty of sex abuse

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A former Sunday school class leader has been sentenced to 10 years in prison on child sex abuse charges.

WAKA-TV (https://bit.ly/1chsbyj ) repots Andy Bartels pleaded guilty on Monday and is ordered to register as a sex offender.

Bartels led a Sunday school class at Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church at the time of his arrest in 2012. He was charged with two counts of first-degree sex abuse.
