MESA, Wash. (AP) - Five men were arrested when Franklin County sheriff’s deputies broke up a cockfight at Mesa.

The sheriff’s office says 20-to-30 men scattered Saturday afternoon as deputies pulled up to the property. Five were arrested on suspicion of animal fighting.

The Tri-City Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1jtElJA ) about 100 roosters were found on the property.
