AMES, Iowa (AP) - Ames police are investigating two reports of a man punching people in the face in the Campustown area and then climbing into a car where occupants could be heard laughing while they drove away.

KCCI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1mDAi2e ) two assaults were reported Feb. 16.

In each case, a man punched someone in the face and then got into a black, four-door car. The victims heard laughter as the car pulled away.



Police say the man didn’t take anything from the victims.
