BOARDMAN, Ore. (AP) - The Morrow County sheriff’s office says nine people were injured in a collision near Boardman early Sunday between a car and a worker transport van.

Two of the injured were airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries and seven were transported to Good Shepherd Hospital in Boardman. Two more people declined treatment.

Deputies issued a ticket to the driver of the worker transport van belonging to Atkinson Staffing of Hermiston. It failed to stop at an intersection and was hit broadside by the car.
