NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Cleveland County authorities say a woman has been found dead in her cell in the Cleveland County jail.
Authorities say the woman had been arrested by Moore police for intoxication and placed in the cell where she was found unresponsive about 4:30 a.m. Sunday. She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Her name and a suspected cause of death were not immediately released.
Her body has been sent to the state medical examiner to determine the cause of death.
