FORT THOMPSON, S.D. (AP) - Police in Fort Thompson are investigating a break-in and vandalism at a church on the Crow Creek Reservation.

Crow Creek Tribe Chairman Brandon Sazue tells KELO television (https://bit.ly/1cdHVm7 ) that the tribe has offered a reward of $1,000 for any information on the incident at the Cunkicaske Presbyterian Church in Fort Thompson.

Church members say the vandals broke a lock on the door in order to gain access and took all of the copper electrical wiring, copper pipes and the communion plate.

The church planned to have Sunday services despite the damage.
