SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Syracuse police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck that struck and killed a 69-year-old man who was riding a bicycle.
Police tell local media outlets that Erben Vazquez of Syracuse was struck in an intersection while he was riding a bike around 10:25 a.m. Saturday. He died of his injuries Saturday night.
Police say witnesses describe the vehicle that hit Vazquez as a white Dodge super-duty dual-wheel pickup truck pulling a goose-neck car-hauling trailer. The truck was last seen headed east on East Colvin Street.
Authorities are seeking the public’s help identifying the driver.
