MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) - Police arrested a 43-year-old man on charges he was involved in $250,000 worth of damage to mountaintop communication towers in southern Oregon.

Ian Anthony Fleming of Wolf Creek was indicted by a Jackson County grand jury on charges of burglary and aggravated theft. The indictment followed an investigation into burglaries, vandalism and thefts at buildings owned by the Oregon Department of Transportation, Pacific Power, the Federal Aviation Administration, television stations and other agencies in the King Mountain area.

The Medford Mail Tribune reports (https://is.gd/mGsLGf ) Fleming was arrested late Thursday after a five-hour manhunt near Wolf Creek that began when the suspect ran from a broken-down pickup into the woods.
