NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A funeral service has been held for a Lebanon couple who were fatally injured when a package exploded at their home.
Seventy-four-year-old Jon Setzer, a retired lawyer, was killed by the package bomb that detonated at his Lebanon home on Feb. 10. Seventy-two-year-old Marion Setzer died later at a hospital.
Sellars Funeral Home in Mount Juliet confirmed that a funeral for the couple was held Saturday in Nashville at the First Church of the Nazarene.
Family members say they have received an outpouring of support.
WKRN-TV in Nashville reports (https://bit.ly/1l9Du3I) relatives that of the Setzers sent out a statement Saturday morning thanking supporters for “calls, emails, messages, meals, visits and most of all prayers.”
The couple’s son-in-law, 49-year-old Richard Parker, has been charged with first-degree murder in the deaths.
