PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona Supreme Court has reappointed Coconino County’s presiding judge to a second term.
The state’s highest court announced Friday that Judge R. Mark Moran will oversee the northern Arizona’s county courts for a new three-year term.
As presiding judge, Moran handles one fourth of Coconino County’s criminal and civil cases, except for domestic relations cases, and is the elections judge in election-related proceedings.
He also supervises case assignments and monitors whether the courts are processing cases in an efficient manner.
Moran became a Coconino County Superior Court judge in 2005 and earned a presiding judge position in 2010.
