WARREN, Vt. (AP) - The Sugarbush resort community is working together to help people displaced by a fire that destroyed 36 condominiums in the Vermont town of Warren.
A website has been set up to help people affected by the Monday fire at the Mountainside Condominium complex.
There were no injuries to people or pets, but all occupants of the complex, including families, dogs and cats, were displaced and the contents of the condominiums were destroyed.
The condominiums were not owned or managed by the resort, but Sugarbush President Win Smith says they’re committed to doing everything they can to help people get back on their feet.
The resort has been working with the Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce and various lodging establishments to shelter those immediately displaced.
