BARRE, Vt. (AP) - A Barre, Vt., man has been indicted in the armed holdup of a city convenience store.

Federal prosecutors say 28-year-old Lee Jay Manning is charged with robbing the Cumberland Farms on the evening of Feb. 12, and possessing a firearm during the robbery and as a convicted felon.

The U.S. attorney’s office says Manning was convicted of burglary in Vermont in 2004.

He is being held on the latest charge. The court has not yet scheduled his arraignment. A federal public defender representing Manning did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
